Summary: A:tS, LotR. Much that once was, was lost when Sauron acquired the Ring. Illyria intends to correct that mistake.
Spoilers: Angel season 5; general "Lord of the Rings"
Notes: This is a loose series of fic positing that the Buffyverse was created when, by mischance, the quest failed and Sauron acquired the Ring. It will eventually expand to cover the "re-setting" of the LotR universe through Illyria's actions.
